Cycle paths, greenways, family cycling...

Cycling in the Comminges Pyrenees is second nature!

At the gateway to Toulouse, whether you want to experience the thrills of mountain biking, or find the most beautiful view of the Pic de Cagire along the legendary Tour de France routes, or take it easy along the Garonne or the Salat greenway, we've got it all!

Garonne cycle path and Salat greenway V81 !
The Garonne cycle route - future Trans Garona (V83)

This cycle route currently links Carbonne to Fos (on the border with Spain) via Rieux-Volvestre, Saint-Martory, Saint-Gaudens and Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. Eventually, it will link Toulouse to the source of the Garonne and the Val d'Aran.

  • This is a shared route, with some sections on dedicated lanes and others on secondary roads.

  • A great day out for all the family!

The Salat green route (V81)

Part of the Pyrenean Piedmont cycle route (V81), this level route takes you from Roquefort-sur-Garonne (link with the Trans Garona - V83) to Castagnède, via the spa town of Salies-du-Salat and Mane on a former railway line, a distance of 12.5 km.

  • This is an exclusive right-of-way (voie verte).

  • A great circuit for the whole family!

At Castagnède, you'll find a link to the Ariège greenway, which will take you to Foix (via Saint-Lizier and Saint-Girons in the Couserans).
